AirKey 1.0

The following is an overview of the AirKey application for Mac, along with installation and usage instructions.

To download and install the Mac version of AirKey, visit: http://www.catalystwo.com/download/AirKey.zip. Compatible with Mac OSX 10.7 through 10.9.x.

Usage instructions are as follows:

• Select the application you wish to type into (for example, TextEdit) and prepare it for input.
• Launch the AirKey app on your iPhone. Upon initial connection, select your device from the "Device" list; subsequent connections should establish automatically.
• Type your message on the iPhone, then tap “Send” to transmit the text to your Mac; it will be inserted into the active application.

Note:

• AirKey for Mac operates as a menu bar application; its icon does not appear in the Dock but is visible in the main menu bar at the top of the screen.
• Your Mac and iPhone should be connected to the same local network, specifically a Bonjour-enabled network, for proper operation.
• The application utilizes the clipboard; received text from your iPhone is copied to the clipboard before being pasted into the target application.
• There is an option to send messages back to your iPhone via the “Send Message to Device” feature—simply type your message in the provided window.
