The following is an overview of the AirKey application for Mac, along with installation and usage instructions.

To download and install the Mac version of AirKey, visit: <a href="http://www.catalystwo.com/download/AirKey.zip">http://www.catalystwo.com/download/AirKey.zip</a>. Compatible with Mac OSX 10.7 through 10.9.x.

Usage instructions are as follows:

<ul>
<li>Select the application you wish to type into (for example, TextEdit) and prepare it for input.</li>
<li>Launch the AirKey app on your iPhone. Upon initial connection, select your device from the "Device" list; subsequent connections should establish automatically.</li>
<li>Type your message on the iPhone, then tap “Send” to transmit the text to your Mac; it will be inserted into the active application.</li>
</ul>

Note:

<ul>
<li>AirKey for Mac operates as a menu bar application; its icon does not appear in the Dock but is visible in the main menu bar at the top of the screen.</li>
<li>Your Mac and iPhone should be connected to the same local network, specifically a Bonjour-enabled network, for proper operation.</li>
<li>The application utilizes the clipboard; received text from your iPhone is copied to the clipboard before being pasted into the target application.</li>
<li>There is an option to send messages back to your iPhone via the “Send Message to Device” feature—simply type your message in the provided window.</li>
</ul>
